A look at some of the shinier trophies Honda added to its collection this year.

Honda has been on something of a hot streak. Only, if it’s decades long, it can hardly be a streak, can it? In any case, they are currently, and have been for some time, a highly awarded brand.

The brand’s large selection of vehicles ranging from small and efficient subcompacts to luxurious SUVs and minivans have won many accolades from automotive journalists and judges around the world. Here are a few Honda added to the trophy room this year:

Car and Driver

The gear heads at Car and Driver were especially impressed with the 2018 Civic and Accord, giving both models a spot on their 10 Best lists. They conduct very detailed thorough tests on every vehicle on the market today, so an accolade from this media means a lot. They also recommended the Ridgeline, Odyssey, Fit, Accord, Civic and CR-V as their Editor’s Choice.

Our brand-new 2018 CR-V impressed the Motortrend team so much they named it their SUV of the Year. Considering the other contenders included the Volvo XC60, the VW Atlas and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio (which all cost a lot more than our CR-V!), we are quite proud of this achievement.

The Car Connection

The Car Connection chose our 2018 Accord Sedan as their Best Car To Buy for 2018. And with good things coming in threes, as they do, they also judged the 2018 Civic the Best Economy Car to Buy in 2018, and awarded our Ridgeline with Best Pickup Truck of 2018.

Kelley Blue Book

Kelley Blue Book has been an invaluable resource for consumers and dealerships alike for decades. With extensive data to back their awards, their opinion is worth a lot. We are especially proud that the all-new Accord received their Most Awarded Car of 2017reward. Oh, and guess who got the #2 spot? Our own Civic. Plus the CR-V at number 8.

Motor Authority

Motor Authority is a trusted source for automotive enthusiasts, and they mostly cater to high-end and driver-focused vehicles. While many great vehicles vied for their Best Car To Buy award, the winner was our 305-horsepower Civic Type-R, proving that Honda is back in the sports car game. Boom!

There were more awards this year and there will be more to come, no doubt. Experience for yourself what automotive journalists have been saying for years and book a test drive.
